On 5th December Zetetick Housing opened its office doors to the community of Lewes to celebrate Christmas and support the community’s late night shopping event supported by Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
Despite the very ‘British’ weather the community came together and emersedthemselves into festive activities. Children could visit Santa’s Grotto; families could take part in a Christmas shopping trial and there was live music and food and drink stalls. A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event happen.
Zetetick Housing relished the opportunity to open its office doors to allow the community to find out more about social housing and supporting vulnerable adults living with learning disabilities and autism. Visitor’s also enjoyed indulging in refreshments and mince pies.
Zetetick Housing would like to thank the local businesses for donating raffle prizes. A big thank you to Waitrose, Bills, Harvey’s Brewery, Seasons, Bake Out Bakery, Cook and Browns Hair and Beauty.
Zetetick is feeling thankful to everyone that came and visited on a chilly, wet evening!
Support us this Christmas
Zetetick Housing is on a mission to support more families and help more people next year by providing homes not just houses to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities or autism.
As a charity, Zetetick relies on voluntary donations to go above and beyond to fund welcome packs, social events and sensory rooms and equipment for our tenants.
The charity can only do this with the support from its community.
