Our values tell everyone who we are as an organisation. They are the foundation of all we do, and each action we take. We are individually and collectively committed to putting these values into practice. We set our charity values back in 2019, and a lot has changed since then. Not only have we dealt with Covid, but we have also grown our staff by 25%, with growth showing no signs of slowing. Whilst we are all intensely proud of what we have and are achieving, it is important for our team to feel connected with our values.
With this in mind, we commissioned a Lewes local artist, Michael Munday, to design a new graphic (below) for our values.
Belonging
Empathy
Determination
Respect
Openness
Care
Kindness
Zetetick want all who we work with to feel valued, seen, and to belong to the Zetetick family.
We encourage empathy and value a caring approach.
Supported housing is ever changing as are our tenants needs, but we are actively determined to provide quality homes.
ZHC is a force for good, and with a genuine respect for and interest in our tenants, and are proud of the impact we have on people’s lives.
We continually strive to be better by being open, and asking what more can we do.
We believe that it costs nothing to be courteous and extend that care to all our stakeholders.
Kindness is at the heart of all we do. We work with some of those most easily forgotten by society. Everyone deserves the right to a warm, safe home.
Charity values – what’s next?
We know we need to keep at it, to embed our values into everyday processes across the organisation. We have the framework of using them when we onboard, set goals, manage performance and communicate.
Putting our values into practice is an ongoing process of exploration, alignment and improvement. We will continue to work on, and celebrate them, every day. So here it is, our new values graphic – as our values are fundamental to all we do, our bedrock.
