Current Volunteer Roles

Volunteer Lead

We’re looking for a Volunteer Lead to help develop Zetetick Housing’s volunteer programme.

This flexible volunteer role offers the opportunity to recruit and support volunteers, build community partnerships and help create opportunities that make a real difference to adults with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs.

Time commitment: 4-8 hours per week
Location: Remote with occasional meetings and events

Here are some answers

Do I need experience

No. Just be willing to learn. We will guide you and give you what you need to get started. However, If you do have specific experience, then we will be grateful to put it to the service of our tenants.

How much time do I need to commit

It is flexible. We will create something around whatever you can offer. We ask that you stick around for 3 to 6 months once you start, so we can plan properly.

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes. If you can use email and video calls, you can volunteer from anywhere in the UK. This is especially useful if you can write good copy or are used to web and social media posting.

Do I need a DBS check?

Some roles do. We will explain what applies and support you through it.
