Not one, not two... But three!

We are finalists: First time being nominated, and setting the record of nominations for Zetetick Housing at the Housing with Care Awards this year!

We are excited to announce that once again our support services are raising the bar in the supported housing sector and the fantastic work our staff do is being recognised in all its glory.

Care Talk magazine’s Housing with Care Awards recognise and celebrate excellence in accommodation and services for integrated retirement communities, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems, retirement villages, assisted living, extra care housing and supported living and shared lives schemes.

The purpose of the awards is to celebrate excellence and diversity in the sector, pay tribute to the frontline workforce and raise awareness of the different housing and retirement models to suit all needs.

It has been shared that Zetetick have made it to the FINALS for not one, but three categories for the Housing with Care Awards.

The awards are:

The Care Handyman/Person
The Housing Team
The Supported Housing Innovation

It was only right that Zetetick’s frontline maintenance and housing team got nominated across the two categories, as without them, we would not function.

And Zetetick, at heart, is an innovative charity: there are very few organisations out there that do what we do, in the way that we do it. We certainly do not ‘place’ people in a one-size-fits-all approach to care. It is great to see this model finally getting the recognition it deserves!

All nominees are now invited to an interview with an independent panel of judges, with winners to be announced at the Gala Awards dinner at the Hilton London Bankside on the 6th of June.

Regardless of the outcome – a huge well done to all of our Zetetick staff – without whom, being finalists wouldn’t even be possible.

Being shortlisted for these three important awards is a testament to our unwavering commitment to our tenants and our Zetetick community. It is a moment of celebration for all of us at Zetetick – we could not be prouder.
