Summary
Zetetick Housing Officers combine care, safety and professionalism to support people in supported living. They listen, act and build trust, helping tenants feel secure, respected and part of a community while ensuring every home is safe, compliant and well looked after.
What Our Housing Officers Do
At Zetetick Housing, our Housing Officers are at the heart of everything we do. They’re the people who bring safety, understanding and care into each home — helping tenants sustain their tenancies and feel they truly belong. Supported housing as it is known is all Zetetick do
Practical Help, Personal Connection
Every Housing Officer combines professional skill with genuine care. They’re out and about every day — visiting properties, checking safety standards, and ensuring repairs are completed promptly.
They help tenants understand their rights, responsibilities and rent charges, making sure each home remains compliant, safe and comfortable. Learn more about what we do.
But the real difference lies in how they do it. They listen. They notice when someone seems withdrawn or anxious. They know when a conversation needs to be gentle, or when to step in early to prevent a tenancy problem from growing. They work closely with care providers, families and advocates to ensure each tenancy can be sustained in a safe and stable environment.

Person-Centred, Values-Led Work
Our Housing Officers bring experience from housing, social care and community work — but above all, they bring heart.
As Kate Grist, one of our Housing Officers in the South East, explains:
“The team is close-knit, supportive and collaborative. That creates the same kind of environment for tenants — one where everyone is treated with care and dignity.”
Easton Wamala, another member of the team, says:
“In my first couple of weeks, I really enjoyed getting to know the team, visiting properties, meeting tenants and care staff. I’m proud to be part of an organisation with real social value — helping individuals with learning disabilities and autism to have a safe and welcoming home.”
And as new colleagues like Louise Moore join, that sense of care continues to grow — each one bringing fresh expertise and a shared belief that every home should feel secure, well looked after and respected.

Safety, Compliance and Communication
Our Housing Officers are practical problem-solvers. They carry out property inspections, ensure compliance with regulations and respond quickly to maintenance issues. They provide clear information about rent and service charges, keeping communication open and transparent.
They play a key role in safeguarding, identifying early signs of concern, following up on issues and maintaining close contact with care partners and local authorities. Every action is guided by the same aim: to protect people and their homes with fairness, clarity and respect.

Part of a Bigger Picture
Behind every Housing Officer stands a whole team — from Regional Housing Managers and Maintenance Officersto colleagues in Tenant Growth and Impact. Together, they ensure that homes stay safe, that tenancies are sustained, and that our service never loses its human touch.
Our Housing Officers don’t see their work as just managing properties. They see it as helping people live well — building trust, stability and dignity, one visit and one conversation at a time.
If you’re a landlord or property owner who shares those values, see how you can rent your property with us.
