Position title
Charity Trustees - Vacancy
Description

We are Zetetick Housing (ZHC), a well-established specialist housing charity and we are looking for new trustees to join our friendly and collaborative board.

For over a decade, ZHC has been at the forefront of providing homes and specialised services for adults with learning difficulties, associated disabilities, autism, and mental health issues. Our mission? To deliver choice and dignity—not just providing housing, but creating a space where care, family, and home come first. We don’t just offer tenancies; we become life partners for our tenants, supporting them every step of the way as they integrate into their local communities.

As a trustee, you’ll be a key part of our journey, helping us thrive and innovate in a changing landscape. We are proud of our partnerships with local communities and organisations who share our values, and now we’re looking for talented individuals to help us expand our impact.

Skills

We’re looking for trustees who can bring new perspectives to our board, especially those who have experience in either safeguarding or social care, business development, finance or you may have experience supporting people with autism or learning disabilities. Your contribution will ensure that we continue to provide a lifeline to some of the most vulnerable people in London and the South East.

Responsibilities

Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do, and we warmly welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Your unique perspective can help shape our future.

You’ll attend four board meetings a year, currently held on Thursday evenings (a mix of virtual and in-person), plus an annual Away Day and if you join a committee then, up to four committee meetings. Additional meetings may occur as needed.
